This Privacy Policy describes how Alayra Group LLC ("Alayra", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Kinetic IDE and related services available at kinetic-ide.com.

Alayra Group LLC is incorporated in Wyoming, United States. Development and engineering operations are conducted through Alayra Group (Private) Limited, incorporated in Pakistan.

What We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the service. We do not collect your code, file names, project structure, keystrokes, screen content, or conversation content.

Account Information

• —Email address (required for account creation)
• —Display name (optional, set by you)
• —Country (used for legal compliance and plan eligibility)
• —Registered date and last activity timestamp

Plan and Billing Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. We do not receive or store your credit card number, billing address, or payment credentials. We receive from Paddle only your plan tier, subscription status, and a customer reference ID.

Usage Data

• —Token usage count (number of AI tokens consumed)
• —Model selection logs (which AI model was used)
• —Device count (for trial plan enforcement)
• —Session timestamps (login and logout times)
• —IP address (stored temporarily for rate limiting and security)

Technical Data

• —Browser type and operating system (for compatibility)
• —IDE version number
• —Error logs and crash reports (no code content included)

What We Never Collect

We make the following absolute commitments:

• —We never store, read, or transmit the content of your code files
• —We never store the content of your AI conversations
• —We never log your keystrokes or clipboard content
• —We never access your file system beyond what the IDE extension explicitly requires
• —We never sell your data to any third party
• —We never use your data to train AI models

How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to:

• —Authenticate you and manage your session
• —Enforce plan limits and feature access
• —Process billing and subscription changes via Paddle
• —Send transactional emails (verification codes, plan confirmations)
• —Detect and prevent abuse or security violations
• —Provide customer support when you contact us

We do not use your data for advertising, behavioural profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the Kinetic IDE service.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Railway (railway.app) infrastructure within secure data centres. All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256.

API keys you store in the Kinetic IDE Vault are encrypted locally on your device using AES-256-GCM and derived from a BIP-39 passphrase you control. Vault data is never transmitted to our servers.

We retain your account data for the duration of your account. If you delete your account, we permanently delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Third-Party Services

We share limited data with the following sub-processors to operate the service:

• —Paddle.com Market Limited — payment processing and tax collection (Merchant of Record)
• —Railway — cloud infrastructure and database hosting
• —Resend — transactional email delivery (email address only)
• —Redis Cloud — session token storage (hashed tokens, no PII)
• —AI model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Groq, etc.) — your prompts are forwarded for inference; these providers have their own privacy policies

We do not share your data with any other third party without your explicit consent, except where required by law.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• —Right to access the data we hold about you
• —Right to correct inaccurate data
• —Right to request deletion of your data
• —Right to data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format)
• —Right to object to or restrict certain processing
• —Right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

Cookies

We use session cookies strictly necessary to maintain your logged-in state. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

Children

Our services are not directed to anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us at privacy@kinetic-ide.com and we will delete it immediately.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email and by a notice on kinetic-ide.com at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
